White Stuff

Nine times out of ten, the White Stuff rail is where a customer stops and lingers. It is cheerful, easy clothing, the kind you pull on without thinking. Almost always with a print, or a small embroidered detail to make you smile.

The brand has an unlikely start. Two friends began selling printed tees in 1985 to fund their ski seasons in the Alps, and somewhere along the way it grew into a much-loved British name with a charitable Foundation at its core.

Our selection leans colourful and comfortable. Cord trousers in plum and navy, abstract-print jumpers, soft long-sleeve jersey, organic cotton shirts, a dependable straight jean. The bright socks and tights are a quiet favourite, and few people stop at one pair.

What ties it together is character. The fabrics wash and wear softly, the colours cheer rather than shout, and nothing about it takes itself too seriously.
