More of our women's shirts come from Vilagallo than from any other brand. The Madrid label works in stripe, gingham and embroidery. Very little of it is plain.
Seasalt prints its shirts from the brand's own Cornish artwork. Mat de Misaine is where to look for women's linen shirts and soft checks. Erfo, a German label, covers the cleaner, smarter end.
Under a jumper, with just the collar and cuffs showing, women's cotton shirts hold their shape best, and Fynch Hatton's Oxford weave does that well.
