HOFF is a Spanish trainer brand, founded in 2017 by Fran Marchena in Elche, a town in south-east Spain known for shoemaking. The name is short for Hall of Fame. HOFF designs low, retro-inspired trainers, mostly in suede, and is best known for its colour combinations: contrast laces, coloured heel tabs and gum or cream soles.

What is the difference between HOFF City, Park and Bridge trainers?

City has a deeper retro running sole with a cream midsole, so it adds a little height. Park is the flattest, low and neat on a gum sole. Bridge is the slimmest, narrow through the toe, with a gum sole that wraps up over the front. All three are suede lace-ups.

What sizes do HOFF trainers come in?

HOFF use European sizing. We carry UK 4 to 8, which is EU 37 to 41: a UK 4 is a 37, a UK 5 a 38, and so on up to a UK 8 at 41. If you are between sizes, come in and we will check the fit with you.

How do I look after suede trainers?

Brush suede with a soft suede brush once it is dry, to lift marks and the nap. A suede protector spray before the first wear helps in the rain. If they get wet, let them dry naturally away from a radiator, then brush again. Never put them in the washing machine.

We picked HOFF trainers for the colour. The Spanish label puts contrast laces, a coloured heel tab and a gum or cream sole on a low suede trainer, and the result looks casual without looking sporty.
