Triumph Bra Size Chart and Fitting Guide: Doreen, Amourette and More
The Triumph bra size chart uses the same band numbers as every other UK brand, but its cup letters run differently above a DD. Once you know that, Triumph sizing is straightforward.
Doreen and Amourette are the two Triumph ranges we keep in the most sizes and colours.

Triumph bra size chart
Start from your usual size, or measure with our guide to how to measure bra size. Triumph label in UK and European sizes, and the band converts like this:

Most of our Triumph runs from a 32 to a 42 back. Doreen goes on to a 46 in black, and Amourette 300 reaches a K cup.
How Triumph cups compare
Up to a D, UK and European cup letters match. After that they part company, and Triumph's UK letters part company again from brands that double up their letters.

Brands such as Fantasie use FF and GG between the single letters. So a Triumph G is the same European cup as a Fantasie FF. If you wear an FF elsewhere, try a G in Triumph.
It sounds fiddly written down. In the shop it takes a minute, because we simply put both on you.
What the style letters mean
Triumph add a short code after the style name. Once you know it, you can tell the shape of a bra before you see it.
- W is wired, like Amourette W, a full lace cup with an underwire
- N is non-wired, like Doreen Delicate N or Amourette N
- P is padded and non-wired, like Amourette P
- WHP is wired and half padded, which gives a balcony shape with padding in the lower cup
- WP is wired and fully padded, like Body Make-Up Essentials WP
The navy pair above shows the difference. Amourette W is unpadded lace through the whole cup. Amourette WHP has padding in the lower half and a lower, more open neckline.
Doreen, Amourette and the rest
Doreen has been made for more than forty years. It is non-wired, with a full cup and a crossover shape at the front that lifts and holds without a wire. We keep Doreen X, Doreen Delicate N and Doreen + Cotton, in white, skin and black, up to a G cup.
Amourette is the lace range, and it comes in more shapes than any other bra we stock. W, WHP, N and P all share the same floral stretch lace. Amourette 300 W is the fuller cup version, with shaper wires, and ours goes up to a K. Most colours have matching Tai and Maxi briefs.
Two more have their own sizing. Flex Smart is a soft, wire-free bra sized 1 to 4 rather than by band and cup: a 34B is a 1, a 34DD is a 2, a 38B is a 3 and a 38DD is a 4. Triaction Wellness N is a wire-free sports bra for walking, yoga and lighter exercise, sized like any other bra.
Triumph briefs follow dress sizes, 8 to 18, so take your usual size. The Maxi sits at the waist and the Tai a little lower.

Frequently asked questions
How do I read the Triumph bra size chart?
Find your band along the top: UK 34 is a European 75 and a French 90. Then find your cup. Up to a D, the letters are the same in every country. Above that, Triumph's UK cups run DD, E, F, G, H and J, which are E, F, G, H, I and J on a European label. If you wear a doubled letter such as FF in another brand, try the next single letter up in Triumph.
Do Triumph bras come up small?
The band is true to UK sizing. The cups are where people get caught out, because Triumph does not use FF or GG. Someone who wears an FF in a brand that doubles its letters will usually need a G in Triumph. If you are between two cups, try both.
What do W, N and WHP mean on a Triumph bra?
They describe the construction. W means wired. N means non-wired. P means padded without a wire, WHP means wired with padding in the lower half of the cup, and WP means wired and fully padded. So Amourette W is an unpadded wired lace bra, while Amourette N is the same lace with no wire at all.
Is the Triumph Doreen bra non-wired?
Yes. Every Doreen we stock is non-wired, and the range has been made for more than forty years. The full cup and crossover front give lift and hold without a wire, which is why so many women with a fuller bust come back to it. We keep Doreen X, Doreen Delicate N and Doreen + Cotton, in white, skin and black.
What size is a Triumph Flex Smart bra?
Flex Smart is sized by number rather than by band and cup. Size 1 covers most A to C cups on a 32 to 36 band, and size 2 most D to DD cups on the same bands. Sizes 3 and 4 do the same for 38 to 42 bands. It is soft and wire-free, with lightly padded moulded cups.
