What is Envy jewellery?

Envy is a UK costume jewellery label based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. It designs necklaces, earrings and bracelets with a new collection each season, working in gold and silver tones, cord, resin and glass.

What kind of necklaces does Envy make?

Mostly long layering necklaces and shorter statement pieces. The long styles include paperclip chains, cords with resin pendants and daisy chains. The short ones include snake chains and chunky bar designs. Gold tone leads, with some silver.

How do I wear a long Envy necklace?

Over a plain knit, or under an open shirt collar where the length has room to hang. Several of the long styles are adjustable, so you can shorten them to sit above a higher neckline.

How do I care for costume jewellery?

Keep it dry, so take it off before a shower, a swim or the gym, and put on perfume and hand cream before your necklace. Store each piece flat or hanging so the chains do not tangle, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing.

Envy jewellery is the easy finish to a plain jumper or an open-necked shirt. The Birmingham label designs costume necklaces with a new collection each season, and we pick the pieces that sit well with what we stock.

Long necklaces make up most of what we carry. Think paperclip chains scattered with little ball beads, cords hung with frosted resin pendants, and gold daisies on a fine chain. They hang low enough to layer under a collar, and several adjust so you can wear them shorter.

The short styles are bolder. Snake chains come in gold or silver, and a triple-layer cord carries chunky taupe stones.
