Brush nubuck with a soft suede brush when it is dry, and protect it with a nubuck spray before wearing it in the rain. Patent only needs wiping with a soft damp cloth and buffing dry. Keep both away from direct heat.

We bought Maria Lya for its loafers. They are leather, low-heeled and properly finished, and they go with the jeans and trousers our regulars come to us for.

The Maya loafer has a moccasin-stitched nubuck upper with a gold horsebit across the front, in cognac tan or brown. The Gala comes in black patent croc or a black nubuck leopard print.

For colder weather there is the Eden, a leather ankle boot in tobacco tan or black.
