Charnos Rosalind Full Cup Underwired Bra: Size Guide and Fit
A full cup underwired bra covers the whole breast and holds it in one smooth shape, and Rosalind is the Charnos one we keep in the most colours. We have it in soft pink, brulee, white, black, plum and midnight blue.
Charnos is now part of Pour Moi, and the two share one size chart. If you have read our Pour Moi size guide, the conversions below will look familiar.

Charnos sizes and conversions
Charnos measure the back where the underband sits, level all the way round, and the cup at the fullest point. Our guide to how to measure bra size takes you through both.
| UK band | 32 | 34 | 36 | 38 | 40 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Europe | 70 | 75 | 80 | 85 | 90 |
| France | 85 | 90 | 95 | 100 | 105 |
| UK cup | Europe | USA |
|---|---|---|
| B | B | B |
| C | C | C |
| D | D | D |
| DD | E | DD/E |
| E | F | DDD/F |
| F | G | G |
| FF | H | H |
| G | J | I |
Watch the European G. Charnos skip the letter I, so a UK G is a European J, not an I. A UK 36E is a European 80F.
What makes Rosalind a full cup
A full cup comes up higher at the front and the sides than a balcony or a plunge. Nothing spills over the top, and it sits smoothly under a fitted jumper or a shirt.
Rosalind does it in a matt and shine stretch lace, so the cup moves with you rather than standing stiff. Inside each cup is a soft cotton sling, which lifts and holds from underneath while the lace stays light on top.

Brulee is the nude. Black, white and soft pink are the classics, and plum and midnight blue bring in some colour.
How Rosalind should fit
Lean forward, settle each breast into the cup, then stand up straight and check in the mirror.
- The band sits firm and level all the way round your back. If it rides up, it is too big.
- The centre front lies flat against your breastbone.
- The top edge of the lace lies flat on you. A gap means the cup is too big, and a ridge means too small.
- The wire sits behind the breast at the side, not on it.
On a new bra, fasten it on the loosest hook, so you can move in as the band gives with wear.
Matching briefs
Rosalind comes with three brief shapes, all in UK dress sizes from 10 to 20. The brief has a lace front and a wide waistband. The high waisted brief and the maxi brief come up higher, with a satin look back.

Come in and we will fit you. It is free and you do not need to book. We are at 30 High Street, Shaftesbury, Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5pm, on 01747 852444.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes does the Charnos Rosalind bra come in?
We stock the Rosalind full cup underwired bra from a 32 to a 40 back, in B to G cups. Not every colour comes in every size, so ring us if you want to check yours. The matching briefs run from a UK 10 to a 20.
Is Charnos the same size as Pour Moi?
Yes. Charnos is now part of Pour Moi and uses the same size chart, so your Pour Moi size is the one to start with. Both use UK sizing with doubled letters, and both skip the letter I in European sizes.
What is a full cup underwired bra?
A full cup bra covers the whole breast, coming up higher at the front and sides than a balcony or plunge. The underwire gives it structure and lift. It suits anyone who wants a smooth line and no spilling over the top.
What does the cotton sling in Rosalind do?
It is a soft cotton panel inside each cup. It supports the breast from underneath, so the stretch lace on the outside can stay light and pretty without the bra losing its hold.
